12.8. About the Authors

Ugo Piazzalunga is technical director at Eutron Infosecurity Srl. He joined Eutron in November 2000 after four years at IBM Global Services and three years in research labs in European and U.S. universities. His current research interests include software security and the design of secure, usable USB devices.

Paolo Salvaneschi is associate professor of software engineering at the University of Bergamo, Faculty of Engineering. He joined the University after spending 20 years as a software architect and head of software development groups in industry and research labs. His interests include quality evaluation of software products, software design methods, and AI-based data interpretation.

Paolo Coffetti is a graduate student in computer science at the University of Bergamo, Faculty of Engineering. His thesis studied the usability of smart cards and USB tokens.
