System Requirements

To perform the procedures in the Your Turn and Putting It Together sections and run the samples, templates, and extras on the CD that accompanies this book, your computer must meet these minimum requirements:

• Internet Explorer 5.5 or later.

• Microsoft Office 2000 Professional or Microsoft Office XP Professional. (The Professional edition of Office includes Microsoft Access.)

• Microsoft FrontPage 2000 or Microsoft FrontPage 2002 (to work with exercises in Chapter 6).

• Microsoft Data Analyzer (to work with exercises in Chapter 9 and Chapter 11).

• Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Analysis Services (to work with exercises in Chapter 11).

• CD-ROM drive

• Enough memory and hard disk space to install the sample files, extras, and electronic book. The sample files and data analysis extras require approximately 9.5 megabytes (MB). The default installation of the electronic book requires approximately 10 MB.
