Simultaneous RADIUS Accounting ServersASA/PIX version 7 has a new feature that allows you to send RADIUS accounting data to more than one server at a time. This feature ensures that if a RADIUS server does goes down, you still have complete accounting records on the machine that has remained working. You configure this feature through the ASDM panel, as follows:
Authentication and Accounting for ManagementASA/PIX version 7 has enhanced its generation of accounting records and its authentication capabilities. The ASA/PIX Security Appliance now reports and authenticates administrative sessions and includes the configuration changes made during those sessions. In addition, accounting records are now generated for console sessions as well as serial connections. Console sessions could include ASDM and web access, whereas serial includes activity from the physical serial console port. Similar records are also generated in syslog. You configure the feature through the ASDM panel, as follows:
