In this chapter we looked at some of the more advanced controls in Swing. These controls do not have an AWT counterpart, but were introduced when Swing was first released.
We first looked at how you can add a grid, or table, to your GUI using the JTable class. Following that, you learned how to place your data in to a tree structure using JTree.
Finally, you learned how to create prefabricated dialogs that enable users to enter information into your program.
