Win32 vs. Win16

Lots of old computers out there are still running Windows 3.1. However, there's not much point in spending money writing new programs for obsolete technology. This edition of Programming Microsoft Visual C++ is about 32-bit programming for Microsoft Windows 95, Microsoft Windows 98, and Microsoft Windows NT using the Win32 API. If you really need to do 16-bit programming, find an old copy of the second edition of this book.
