In this section, we share some tips we have learned through trial and error that will help you better design or set up and maintain the WebAccess system:
Keep WebAccess Agents as close to users as possible. In other words, if you have a domain across a WAN link, it's best to install a WebAccess Agent under this domain, and then define this WebAccess Agent as the preferred agent for this domain.
Keep the agent on the same server as the GroupWise domain.
Configure your web server to support SSL. Chapter 27 explains how to do this for an Apache web server on the NetWare platform.
Monitor closely how heavily the WebAccess Agent is being used. You might need to increase the thread count to provide suitable performance for users.
