Chapter 16. Customizing the Media Center Audio Experience

In This Chapter

  • Working with playlists in Windows Media Player

  • Creating playlists in Media Center with the Playlist Editor PowerToy

  • Listening to and adding Internet radio stations in Media Center My Music

  • Creating radio station presets in Media Center Radio

With the introduction of Windows XP Media Center Edition 2004, the Media Center audio experience was expanded from only listening to digital audio stored on your PC, and limited capabilities to access streaming Internet stations, to a full-on audio arsenal that includes rewindable FM radio and fully supported Internet audio.

In this chapter, we'll look at some of the ways to customize and personalize that expanded audio experience, to make it really "sing."
