Summary

In this chapter, we described how to implement simple properties and how to use the ViewState dictionary property to maintain state across round-trips. We examined the properties that your control inherits from Control and from WebControl and looked at common design-time attributes. In Chapter 10, we'll describe how to implement complex properties whose types correspond to collections and other reference types.
