Defloating Text

After you've placed the floating text where you want it, you'll need to defloat it to the next lowest raster layer.

If you want special effects applied to the text only, apply the effect before you defloat it. After you defloat the text, unless you reselect the text, you cannot apply effects only to the text; the effects apply to the entire layer.

NOTE

To deselect the text, choose Selections, Select None or press Ctrl+D.
