In a formula, a reference to a cell that does not change when you copy the formula. An absolute reference always refers to the same cell or range. It is designated in a formula by the dollar sign ($).
The selected cell in a worksheet. Designated with a border surrounding the cell.

A function that adds a row or column of figures by clicking on the AutoSum button on the toolbar. Same as = SUM .
Lines that form a frame of reference for the chart data. Most charts have an x-axis and a y-axis.
