Without Microsoft frequently updating their browser against the latest security threats, the risk assessment would be high. Fortunately, most threats are addressed immediately and their ability to do widespread damage is decreased. The inherent complexity of browser software means it will continue to be exploited and continue to be one of the bigger risks a company can face.
