Chapter 5. Channels Better Color

Chapter 5. Channels & Better Color

I've got to tell you, I'm not sure you're ready for the juice this chapter holds. This stuff is real. It's earthy. It gets under your fingernails. It's gritty, unadulterated (meaning it's rated NC-17), and while it's somewhat ambidextrous, at the same time I feel it's not overly congealed. This chapter (which by itself is worth the cover charge and two-drink minimum) is so salacious, so incendiary, and so overwhelmingly obtuse that I'm not sure you'll be able to handle it. That's right, babybecause this chapter has been "Margulicized!" If you're not familiar with the term, let me tell you this, my friendyou will be. That's because this chapter was raised from just a pup with the hand-fed care and voluminous input of Dan Margulis, the world's leading expert on Photoshop color, the man who penned what is considered to be the Bible on color correction and digital prepress, the Photoshop Hall of Famer himself (that's rightthat Dan Margulis). I knew for this chapter to be what I wanted it to be, I would need some serious input from "The Man." He was incredibly gracious and giving of his time (considering his utter contempt for all living things), and I thank him for letting me "Margulicize" this, my favorite chapter in the book.
