iMovie HD: SHUTTLING THROUGH YOUR MOVIE

The Rewind button in iMovie HD takes you all the way back to the beginning of your movie, but if you want to back up just a little bit, there's a keyboard shortcut that will give you a live rewind (and by that, I mean it will play your movie in reverse) until you get to the spot where you want to be. Just press Option-[ (Left Bracket key) to start the backwards playback, then press it again to stop. For a live fast-forward, press Option-] (Right Bracket key).
