When you're on the Web, certain websites collect information about you and your brow-sing habits, and if you buy products online, they keep even more information than that. If you'd prefer to remain anonymous (especially if you're using a computer that is shared by other people), you'll want to know about Private Browsing. You turn on Private Browsing by going under the Safari menu and choosing Private Browsing. That's it (now you can secretly go to Microsoft's or Dell's website without your Mac buddies finding out). |
