Before you can type a new URL (Web address) in the address bar, you have to get rid of the one currently in the address field. Of course, you could drag your cursor over the old address to highlight it, and if you're charging by the hour, I highly recommend doing it that way. However, if you want the fastest one-click method in town, just click on the little Apple icon (or custom site icon) that appears immediately before the address in that field. This instantly highlights the field, and you can type your new URL over the old URL lickety-split (whatever that means. I heard some guy at the General Store say that once). |
