TURNING OFF THE EMPTY TRASH WARNING

TURNING OFF THE "EMPTY TRASH" WARNING

There's nothing like executing a simple command and having the OS ask: "Are you sure you want to do this?" By default, every time you go to empty the Trash, it asks this annoying question (and it has for years upon years). Disabling the Empty Trash Warning is a little different in Mac OS X than it was in previous versions. Now you go under the Finder menu, under Preferences, and click on the Advanced icon. Then deselect the checkbox for Show Warning Before Emptying the Trash.
