timezone-from-date /time/dateTime

This entry covers three related functions: timezone-from-date() , timezone-from-dateTime() , and timezone-from-time() .

These functions extract the timezone component from an xs:date , xs:dateTime , or xs:time value, as a value of type xdt:dayTimeDuration representing the offset of the timezone from UTC. For example, the timezone «GMT-5 » is represented as «-PT5H » .
