13.8 Conclusions

Once the details of how to create and distribute the objects are worked out, distributed computing using RMI is almost as simple as writing a threaded program running on a single process. However, because distributed computing is essentially concurrent computing, the best way to develop distributed programs is to use some form of the component models that were presented in this text. The extra details of properly structuring a distributed program make it especially essential that clean component models that are well thought through are used to ensure that the programs will work correctly.
