You can perform a crash record to output your sequence, but this method does not provide the precision that many broadcast facilities require.
Avid Xpress Pro can add filler to the beginning of your sequence.
A file that stores test patterns can be found in the Supporting Files folder, which was included automatically when you installed Avid Xpress Pro.
To create audio tone, open the Audio tool and click on the Peak Hold button.
You can change the starting timecode of your sequence.
If you use the Digital Cut tool correctly, you'll need a striped tape.
Avid Xpress Pro can perform both insert and assemble edits if your deck uses an RS-422 cable.
You'll need a DVD authoring program to create a DVD.
Exporting your sequence is another option for outputting your work. Feel free to experiment.
