Review Alternate APIs and Methods for File Access
In this chapter, we ll look at the file handling APIs of GNU/Linux and explore a number of applications to demonstrate the proper use of the file handling APIs. We ll look at a number of different file handling functions, including character interfaces, string interfaces, and ASCII-mode and binary interfaces.
