Need to Know More?

graphics/book.gif Sportack, Mark A. IP Addressing Fundamentals . Cisco Press, Indianapolis Indiana, 2003. IP addressing can be extremely confusing. This book covers the topic from every angle possible. While IP addressing is presented in far more detail than required for the CCNA, it is a good reference to have for the entire Cisco certification program.

graphics/book.gif Osterloh, Heather. TCP/IP Primer Plus . Sams Publishing, Indianapolis, Indiana, 2002. Written clearly and concisely, this one book can answer almost any question relating to TCP/IP. It is a good book to have for both this certification and future Cisco certifications.

graphics/book.gif Castelli, Matthew. Network Sales and Services Handbook . Cisco Press, Indianapolis, Indiana, 2003. Although this book is targeted at sales, it does a very good job of explaining technologies and Cisco products without getting into mind bogging minutia. A good book to have!

graphics/book.gif Odom, Wendell. Cisco CCNA Exam Certification Guide . Cisco Press, Indianapolis, Indiana, 2000. Cisco is almost always the best place for reference books relating to Cisco. They print incredibly detailed and comprehensive books and this one is excellent . I would not want to read it as a primary text, but as a reference it cannot be beat.
