This book is aimed at Java architects, developers already working with J2EE, and Java developers who have a basic knowledge of J2EE and expect to work on J2EE projects.

This book is not an introduction to EJBs, servlets, JSP, or J2EE. Readers unfamiliar with these areas might read this book while referring to a comprehensive reference (see Recommended Reading below).
