BuildingTabletApps Library Reference

This appendix is a complete reference to the BuildingTabletApps utility library found on this book s companion content. The library s primary purpose is to provide a set of functionality to augment the Tablet PC Platform. This functionality should be useful for developers working on Tablet PC applications.

The full source code to the library can be found on the companion content in the C:\Program Files\Microsoft Press Books\Building Tablet PC Applications\BuildingTabletPCApps folder and is installed locally along with the rest of the sample applications. The BuildingTabletApps library is not registered in the Microsoft .NET global assembly cache, so to use it in your own application you must choose the Add References menu item in Microsoft Visual Studio .NET and then select the BuildingTabletApps.dll file name from the Browse option.

The library uses the namespace MSPress.BuildingTabletApps and contains numerous classes we hope you ll find helpful in exploring the Tablet PC Platform. The following sections describe these classes.
