In either instance, you must install the optional feature Security Server or an equivalent security product before you use WebSphere Studio Asset Analyzer.
You can have either one of the following software versions:
5645-DB2 DB2 for OS/390 Version 6
You must install and configure the JDBC application support and the Net.Data for OS/390 Version 2.2 feature (with PUT0112 applied).
5675-DB2 IBM DB2 UDB Server for OS/390 and z/OS with National
Language Version 7
You must install and configure the JDBC application support and the Net.Data 7.1 feature (with PTF UQ62108 applied).
You can have either one of the following software versions:
5655-A98 WebSphere Application Server for OS/390 Version 3 Release 5
PTF UQ58000 must be applied before using WebSphere Studio Asset Analyzer.
Java Development Kit V1R3 with PTF UQ62958 is required.
WebSphere Application Server must be enabled to access DB2 using JDBC as described in Appendix E of WebSphere Application Server Standard Edition Planning, Installing, and Using, GC34-4835.
5655-F31 WebSphere Application Server for OS/390 Version 4
Java Development Kit V1R3 with PTF UQ62958 is required. WebSphere Application Server must be enabled to access DB2 using JDBC.
A functional requisite is defined as a product that is not required for the successful installation of this product or for the basic function of the product, but is needed at runtime for a specific function of this product to work.
