As team leader, you have the opportunity to enlighten team members as well as the people above you in the organization's hierarchy. Your ability to be an advocate for the fulfillment of the needs of your team is important. You also have the chance to lead by example by demonstrating diplomatic methods of influencing people in powerful positions .
