About the Technical Reviewers

Dorian Nisinson, born and raised in New York, is an artist, graphic designer, illustrator, and muralist who discovered Flash back when Macromedia first acquired it. She was a founding member of FlashCentral.com, which was one of the first sites dedicated to Flash; she designed the graphics for the Widgets Sample files that shipped with Flash 4; and she has contributed to or tech edited several books on Flash. These include Flash 4 Bible by Reinhardt and Lentz; Flash 4 Web Animation f/x by Milburn and Croteau; Flash 5 Bible by Reinhardt and Lentz; Flash MX Bible by Reinhardt and Dowd; Building Web Sites with Macromedia Studio MX by Green, Chilcott, and Flick; and Jon Warren Lentz's best-selling book, Flash: The Future . Dorian is also a member of the Mobile Content Consortium (http://www.mobilecc.org) and head of the design firm, Dorian Nisinson Design (http://www.nisinson.com).

Currently, Dorian is involved in exploring the uses of Flash as a tool for creating interactive art, both on the web and on handheld devices.

James Cullin has been building database-driven web sites using ColdFusion since 1998. His focus is on the not-for-profit sector, with clients that include the Canadian International Development Agency and APEC. He currently teaches courses in Internet technology and web programming at Toronto's Humber College. He also teaches an online course about Internet research techniques at the University of Guelph-Humber. When James is not building web applications or teaching, he can be found hiking or gardening with his wife, Paula, and daughters, Gwendolyn and Madeline.

Marcus J. Dickinson is a freelance Macromedia Developer and Corporate Trainer in the Toronto area. His skills have been sought by many prominent companies in North America. He is actively involved in the Toronto community, as well as online, where he moderates numerous forums. He brings an enthusiasm and excitement to Flash that is hard to match.
