Launching Netscape Navigator

Before you launch Netscape Navigator, you have to ensure that you are connected to the Internet. If you are using a dialup connection, make sure you have followed the steps from Chapter 11, "Working with E-Mail," and have initiated your connection before you launch Netscape Navigator. If you are using a cable connection that has already been configured, you needn't do any prep work. Realizing the importance of the Internet to most computer users, Lindows makes it easy to access your Web browser by placing an icon on the Quick Launch Bar.

1. Click on the Web Browser button in the Quick Launch Bar. Netscape Navigator will launch, and you'll be able to surf the Internet.
