At this point you are probably gnawing at the bit, ready to dive into software installation. Fair enough. With a careful installation and subsequent hardening of the system, you are well on your way as a security-minded system administrator to building an OpenBSD or FreeBSD server that's very resistant to attack. Keep in mind that security consciousness is not something you can forego after your system has been "locked down." Staying abreast of vulnerabilities and patching are invaluable.
