Overview

Simply stated, a plug-in is a mini program that extends the capabilities of Photoshop (or its companion program ImageReady). Each plug-in functions in one of three ways: as a filter, as an additional import or export choice, or as a file format choice in the Save As or Open dialog box. This chapter shows you how to take advantage of plug-ins. In this chapter, you'll learn how to:
