Digital Performer allows you to customize how the program operates. As you get more familiar with the program, you will find that you use some windows more often than others, and you'd like some settings to always be available. Using the Preferences command, you can select which of the many windows you'd like open when you start the program and what actions you'd like to take place on startup. You can also adjust audio settings and select from a variety of other options.
