Quality Assurance

• Is the final disposition and/or resolution of all defects complete? (No bugs with a status of open , unassigned , fixed but not yet verified , or nondeferred analyze)

• Is the appropriate testing on the final build complete? (Full regression, customer-specified, smoke, etc.)

• Is a program install from the release media onto a clean target machine complete? (CD-ROM, Web site, etc.)

• Is the program successfully installable (Files, registry updates, etc.)?

• Is a program uninstall from the target machine complete?

• If appropriate, is an upgrade install complete?

• Are the final help files included?

• Are the final read-me files included?

• Do all migration scripts pass?

• Have all supported platforms been tested and verified?
