Creating Your Own Icons (and Emblems)

 < Day Day Up >

With all the available graphics programs you’ve seen in this chapter, you might well be inspired to create some icons of your own. Or maybe you just want to add some sunglasses to hide Tigert’s dazed and confused expression. If so, you will want to try out Icon Editor, which allows you to create new or modify existing icons, pixel by pixel (see Figure 14-8). If you’ve never tried this sort of thing before, it can take some getting used to, so make sure that you save whatever file you are working on under another name before getting to work (just in case you really make a mess of an otherwise handsome icon).
