Reason 2.5 is a hybrid, or dual-platform, application, which means that it runs equally well on Windows PCs and Macintosh computers. The Reason CD contains complete versions for each platform. Reason 2.5 comes with three CDs. Disc One contains the actual program for Windows and Mac OS X (as well as OS 9). The remaining two discs contain the sounds and samples to be used in Reason.
