Because of its nature, the full-blown symptoms of Myopia are only manifested in the long term. However, subtler symptoms do appear that can help cut off the formation of these more serious symptoms.
The number-one symptom of Myopia is the shortcut. Any time you find yourself thinking that you can take a shortcut to a solution, step back and consider the long-term consequences. More than half the time you will discover that your shortcut has a high risk of causing lost time rather than gained time. This is because shortcuts represent a short-term solution that only fixes the immediate problem. They do not consider future problems that might result either from not fixing the problem properly or from the shortcut itself.
