Note You can choose to hide graphics here by deselecting the Graphics and objects option. You can load graphics on a page by page basis by right-clicking and choosing Load Graphics. Grid OptionsYou can set the dimensions for a grid, which you can display, and snap objects to. (Snapping to the grid means objects you create, insert, or move will be aligned with the closest gridpoint.) Use the Grid window, shown in Figure 13-2. Figure 13-2. Setting standard grid options
The grid, when displayed, is a set of very faint dots, one at each point where the X and Y grid axes intersect. If you selected Visible grid and it doesn't seem to be visible, take a closer look at the work areait's just that the dots are light and far apart. You can't darken the grid display, but you can increase the number of dots by increasing the number of points in the Subdivision fields. This adds more dots to each line. |
