You can perform most operations with contacts easily from the keyboard instead of using the mouse. To select a contact, type the first few letters of the name to make Outlook select the entry. (If you have configured Outlook to display the last names first, type a few letters of the last name ; if Outlook is displaying first names first, type a few letters of the first name.)

When you ve selected a field on a contact card, you can navigate by using the following keyboard shortcuts.

If the current field is the last field in the active card, press [Tab] to move to the first field on the next card.

If the current field is the first field in the active card, press [Shift] - [Tab] to move to the last field on the previous card.
[Enter]
If the current field has multiple lines, pressing [Enter] adds a line to the field.
