Enable LDAP Treeless Login

  • Description: Check this box to enable a treeless login, which lets users log in without specifying an eDirectory tree.

Enable LDAP Contextless Login

  • Default Value: OFF

  • Range: ON, OFF

  • Description: Check this box to enable a contextless login, which lets users log in without specifying an object context. This option requires LDAP services for eDirectory on the server hosting a replica of the tree to which you want to authenticate.

Enable LDAP Context Search Scope

  • Default Value: OFF

  • Range: ON, OFF

  • Description: This option allows you to restrict the scope of the LDAP search to a specific context, set of contexts, or sub-trees.

  • Range: N/A

  • Description: Specifies the directory tree, or trees, that will participate in the LDAP contextless login.

Servers

  • Default Value: N/A

  • Range: N/A

  • Description: Specifies the server, or servers, associated with the eDirectory tree that will be searched during the authentication process.

  • Range: N/A

  • Description: Provides an additional page of options for configuring the LDAP login process, including attributes that will be displayed during login and those attributes that can be used to search for the requested LDAP object in order to perform the login.
