Centering Text in the Comp Window

If you create a text layer by choose Layer>New>Text from the menu, AE will place an insertion point (text cursor) at the exact center of the Comp window. Your text will be automatically centered.

Keyboard shortcut: Cmd+Option+Shift+T (Ctrl+Alt+Shift+T).
