We covered a lot about JSP in this chapter. We defined what JSP is and how it works in terms of a web application, we explored the operating systems and web server choices you must make to develop your own JSP web system, and we delved into how you can use the JSP language to develop your own web applications. And we're not done yet. In later chapters, we'll explain, step by step, how to use Dreamweaver MX to build database-driven web pages. But even with all we have and are about to accomplish, there are literally mountains more Java to learn. It's an extremely powerful and fascinating language, and we encourage you to immerse yourself in all things Java.
